Tammy Felice
Tammy is a nationally certified Pilates Mat Instructor and Wellness Coach though Polestar Pilates, a global leader in comprehensive training. Polestar was founded by a PhD in Physical Therapy, who’s career centered around the impact of Pilates rehabilitation on chronic low back pain using psycho-emotional wellness and quality of life measures.
Tammy studied dance and cheerleading from ages 6 to 17 and suffered with dull/moderate chronic nocturnal lower back and hip pain starting at age 10 from scoliosis in the lower lumbar though the sacrum. After being diagnosed in 2019 with localized scleroderma and morphea on her back and over top of the scoliosis, Tammy changed courses in her career and began a quest to study and build programs to aid with the pain and skin tightening.
Tammy continues to study and teach in Movement Science specializing in athletic performance, pre and post rehabilitation, and pain management though out Los Angeles. She is also a Certified Life Coach through Achology, the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology, specializing in personal growth out of pain and traumas, and the capacity to positively impact others.
She lives in Sherman Oaks with her long-time partner Kristian, has a 7-year-old daughter named Josie, and 2 dogs and 2 cats. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, dry red wine, jogging and spending time with friends and family.
